Variety Is The Spice Of Life
Bude Bay with its ‘rollers’ sweeping in from the Atlantic make this a perfect summer place for surfers and is one of the finest surfing destinations in England. The splendour of the coast meets the countryside, encompassing many beautiful places of interest, laying to the north of Bude in Duckpool is a pretty stream, flowing in from the lush greenery of the beautiful Coombe Valley, and history tells us that King William IV made a contribution of £20 towards an ancient bridge which crosses the stream.
