Exercises to Relief Your Back Pain

Are you tired of popping painkiller pills each time your lower back starts to hurt… and then going to the doctor to ask for some more? Frankly, taking these drugs to ease the pain in your lumbar region is not the proper solution, especially if you care about your body. There is a far more healthier way to relief your back pain – by doing some simple stretching exercises!

Even when you are in the office, there are certain stretching routines which you can comfortably do to, well, feel more comfortable in your back. Try these simple stretches the next time your back decides to not cooperate with you:

Sitting Stretch

This is ideal if you experience a back attack while in the office. Remain seated in your office chair, then slowly lean forward until your fingers touch the floor. Maintain this stretched position for a good 20 seconds before going back to sitting upright. Do this stretching motion for 3 to 5 times.

Knee Bends

Stand up, and place your hands on either your desk or chair to act as a support. Slowly bend your knees and bring yourself as low as possible. Exhale while doing this. Then slowly stand up and inhale at the same time. Do 10 repetitions of this exercise.

Waist Twist

Remain standing with your feet a shoulder-width apart. Let your arms hang loose by your side. Start twisting your body at the waist, letting your arms swing and your hands patting your lower back as they reach around. Do this in a relaxed manner for 10 counts.

You should notice, after doing these 3 simple stretches, that your lumbar area feels a whole lot more comfortable. Once you achieve this relief, you should be able to carry on with your daily activities… all without having to drown any distasteful painkillers down your throat.

But getting instant relief every single time your lower back hurts should not be your primary goal…

Instead, what you really should do is to find out the underlying cause of the pain in your back, and do the necessary actions to correct this condition. Only after you address the root source of your lower back pain, then will you be able to finally declare yourself free from those painful back attacks for the rest of your life!
If you have been suffering from lower back pain all these while, you know you want to stop your back from hurting quickly.
