Feeling Enough Attitude for a Happier Life
Many people have become greedy today, those people have achieved tremendous successes but still they do not feel enough. Their feeling-enough attitude and thankfulness have been defeated by greedy attitude.
There are several factors that make greedy character becomes dominant character in someone. First factor is that those greedy people do not have success parameter in their life. When those people are asked about success, they would just answer that they want more success, have more wealth, want higher occupation and wan more. They do not have exact parameter of success because all inside their head is wanting more and more. Second factor is that those greedy people always look above means look on people achieving more success than them. Greedy people seldom or even never look on people whose conditions are less than those greedy ones. The last factor is that those people have lost self-control. They have been driven by strong desire to chase more wealth, higher occupation, and the likes. Their self-control has gone somewhere out there.
God indeed always gives each individual chance so each individual can always try to be good quality individual. However, God also always reminds us to always live in balance and always be grateful for what God has given. Greedy people indeed do not live in balance nor be grateful to God. In order not to be like those greedy people, we should protect ourselves with these actions. First of all before we make steps in realizing our dreams, we should set our own success parameter. Parameter includes exact goals to be achieved and time frame to achieve those goals. When each person has set his/her own goals, he/she will focus on those goals without having envy feeling toward others who have achieved greater success. Envy will only lead human to greedy and far away from feeling enough attitude. And the last action is that we must live our life in balance between improving life quality of ourselves and also helping others who need helps. There is a time when we have to look above to more successful people to give our struggle a boost but there is also a time when we have to look below to those poor who need our help to keep us be grateful to God for what God has given to us.
Exact success parameter, stay away from envy character and always sincere in helping others are basic steps to keep us away from greedy character and heading toward feeling-enough attitude. Life always needs balance in order to make our life more valuable and happier. Life becomes more valuable when we can help others as much as we can.
