Suicide is Not an Option!

Another suicide. Another person dies. Articles have been written, stories have been read, and songs have been sung about those who have reached their point of no return. Some people think it’s sad, others think it’s stupid.

I think it’s sad. I think it’s sad that a human being could reach the point of not wanting to spend another single moment of life on the face of this earth. I think it’s sad that a person could reach a point of being so incredibly unhappy that they no longer care that their death will hurt the many people who care about them. I think it’s sad that a person could reach a point of such strong conviction that they could actually find the strength to pull the trigger on the gun, to jump from the upper floor, to swallow all those pills, to rake the razor blade across their wrist, to be so utterly wrought with misery that they can not bare to breath just one more breath of life. I think it’s sad.

I think it’s stupid. I think it’s stupid that a human being is allowed to reach the point of depression that they have to be medicated. I think it’s stupid that a human being is allowed to reach the point of depression that they have to be hospitalized. I think it’s stupid that a human being is allowed to reach the point of depression that they have to commit suicide to find relief. I think it’s stupid that anyone is allowed to suffer such immeasurable misery. I think it’s stupid.

I think it’s undeniably avoidable, preventable, stoppable!

If you are suffering with depression, there are other options to medications, hospitals, and suicide! Don’t wait until you believe dying is the only way out. Suicide is NOT an option! I’ve been where you are, and I’m telling you that you do not have to continue suffering. Just like there are so many different medications, there are so many different alternatives. These options not only heal the emotional trauma in a person, you will also be physically healed.

Brainwave Entrainment. Absolutely simple. This is the one I use. Pop a CD into the player, put on your headphones, and just sit back and let it work. You can spend about an hour sitting quietly during your day, or put on the headphones or put in the ear buds when you go to bed and let it work even while you sleep. You spend more time and energy being miserably depressed every day. You spend more time and money on your medications year after year.

Qigong. A 2000 year old Chinese healing practice. Once again, absolutely simple. It’s a program of graceful movements, controlled breathing, and quiet meditation. Pop in the CD. You’ll spend about an hour a day of this practice. You spend more time and energy on crying, daydreaming, anger, and sadness. I also practice Qigong and I recommend it, as well. If you are so utterly depressed that you can’t seem to make yourself get up to move, then start with the Brainwave Entrainment.

Emotional Freedom Techniques. EFT is the physical practice of tapping on oneself at the acupuncture points of the body. It is believed to manipulate the bodies energy field in order to alleviate a psychological problem.

Reiki. A spiritual healing practice of transferring healing energy through the palms of the hands. With practice, a first degree reiki practitioner is able to heal themselves. As with Qigong and EFT, these three practices of healing involve the manipulation of the bodies energy field.

There are millions of people around the world who believe that the body is not only made up of it’s physical components, it is also surrounded by energy throughout. They believe that if the energy field is not in balance, energy blockages will be created. If the blockages are not removed, physical and/or emotional illnesses are most likely to manifest themselves.

I am living, breathing, proof that these energy fields can be manipulated easily and the body can be brought back into its proper alignment. Thus, wellness!

You don’t have to live with depression. Don’t spend your life medicated and suffering and struggling.
That’s no way to live! Remember, suicide is NOT an option!
